English Help

Today, I worked on my plants in the morning, trying to find them in the books. It is difficult because there are three plants called Oregano, and only one really is the Oregano we know as Oregano. Also, Don Chinto could not read or write, so whatever the word sounded like, I wrote down. This is especially hard in another language. At 2, we had Library. It was art day, so we made cards for Mother’s day. El Dia De Madre here is a big deal. It is all over TV, and there are events they have for it. We are going to play bingo on Sunday.

After Library, Katerine, her brother Eric, and Valentina begged me to come over and learn more English. They came over, and I made them popcorn. I taught them the alphabet in English, and Eric was the only one who really retained it. Fabiola remembered every word, and she wrote everything down in her book as well.
